Duane Landon, CPA, EA provides exceptional tax and accounting services to small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and individuals. He has worked in the industry for over 20 years. Services include accounting, part-time controller, and tax preparation.
I take pride in my work and approach each client with a sense of respect and a desire to educate, improve systems, adherence to legal requirements, and deliver financial data that arms decision-makers with the information required to move the enterprise forward.
While providing limited services is an option, I have found that my most successful engagements cover the full range of services from bookkeeping to consulting, to tax preparation.
About Duane Landon
Experience and Expertise
Duane Landon is a lifeline learner; he obtained a bachelor's in psychology and a minor in business from the University of Oregon in under three years. Shortly after returning to the Seattle area, he went back to education and obtained both an MBA and MPA while working full time and starting a family.
After ten years in the corporate world, he operated a consulting business with his father, focused on bringing structure and capacity to nonprofits. During this time, he was exposed to accounting and fell in love with the work. After taking a few extra courses and studying hard, he passed all four parts of the CPA exam the first try. Around this time, he also became an Enrolled Agent which required passing multiple IRS exams to become an expert in federal tax.
For over 20 years, Duane both worked in the nonprofit industry and operated a private accounting and tax practice. Having held positions such as Director of Finance, and CFO, along with the technical accounting knowledge, he brings well-rounded experience to any engagement.
